This is where the fun begins. [over the radio you can hear his lightsaber of course humming and bullets being fired. If you're near him, you'll notice that he's deflecting the bullets with his lightsaber and he's trying to make that they bullets don't kill the cops. He's also using the force to push them back into a building and rip the guns out of ( Read more... )

[Kefka sweeps in, with his usual flare, and knocks a cadre of police accosting Anakin off their feet and into a wall with a strong gust of wind]

If you expect to survive this, young man, I suggest you fight with a bit more purpose. As for a plan to take back the city... I might. For now though, fight as if your life depended on it... for as far as we know... it does. Think of those left behind when you were pulled here. If you wish to see your loved ones again, you will fight like a soldier; you will fight to kill. It is unfortunate, but circumstances require it. Are you with me?

[glaring]

I could have handled it on my own.

I am a Jedi, Jedi don't kill. [walking away]

[Unfazed by the glare, Kefka follows, calling out over the weather ( ... )

War is not something new to me. [you know kefeka, you're only pissing him off by mentioning people left at his home when he came here.] That power I have is the force and I have been taught not to kill. I will not play by your rules.

Besides, it takes a lot to slow me down.

[Kefka grins at the reaction. He could sense the elements in play in this one. He may even have more power than Kefka, something Kefka both admired and despised the exotic warrior for.]

You may not be willing to do what is necessary, but I am. I am not about to let these pitiful weaklings extinguish the power that we wield just because you are too cowardly to fight. They cling to their fear, using hate to extinguish what they do not understand. They are no better than beasts, and before us, they are naught but insects. War may not be alien to you, but this is not any war you've fought before. We are alone here. Individuals against a whole. Their numbers are nigh on infinate, if this city has its way, and they will just keep coming. If you do not kill, regardless of how unfortunate the circumstances are, you will die.

[and he's using the force to push kefka backwards, not like flipping backwards, just to give anakin some space] Jedi are keepers of the peace. We only kill if we must and right now I do not see a reason to kill. Taking their weapons means they live and no one is harmed.

[Kefka uses his fan to block most of the impact of the push, though his feet do slip backwards a few inches due to the slick pavement.]

You cannot take all their weapons. You take one, and they will just go back to wherever they're from, get more, and keep coming after you. Do you really believe they will throw up their hands and go home just because you take one of their toys away from them!? They only understand force. If you truly know of that; use it in its true form, inspire fear and send them running for their miserable lives! Only then will you be free of their pursuit! Only then will you be able to hope of returning to your loved ones!

You underestimate what the force can do. It isn't what you think it is.

[sorry kefka, you are no palpatine so anakin isn't planning on listening to you D; and more glaring because you brought up loved ones.]

So you say, but only time will tell.

[Kefka smirks as he vanishes in a puff of smoke, his cackle lingering on the wind]
