Hehe. It's actually a quote from a parody fic I used to write with a friend of mine called Apathy Twins. It was set up as an ongoing travel journal between two TRULY annoying characters who somehow landed in Middle Earth, and that line comes from a scene where my character got the Fellowship good and plastered. Legolas stole Aragorn's left shoe because he felt it was a just defiance of Aragorn's Manly King of Men thing. (I was actually pretty hungover when I wrote the scene, for the record.)

Ahem. Sorry for the tl;dr explanation.
