Bahahhaaha, "people ta shag" indeed ... we all know there's only ONE person the Doctor/Cat is going to be shagging!

Ha, Martha's the mad cook!
I was in the play one year, there were only six of us and we doubled up as different roles. I was the Cook AND the Queen, which was confuzzling when the trial scene came up ... still, my favorite experience in theater thus far. We did a lot of special effects (like when Alice was crying one of us would run up to her and start unrolling a piece of blue or green cloth, then someone else would run up and start, then we all stood up, wrapped her up, then unravvled her and became the caterpillar) and did it as theater in the round, which had never been done in that theater before.

Ah yes, neither will be admitting to anything yet though. ;)

I think she's cute in the maid outfit that's why I chose her, it seems me at nearly half of the female cast has been in a maid outfit at some point of new who; rose, martha, martha's mum ect...

Oh! that sounds awesome. I'd have wanted to be in a play too -- we never really did any though :(

Yes, but the Master spoils us rotten with all the slash they've generated onscreen for the past few decades, so it doesn't matter.

Yeah, weird ... heh heh, Donna wouldn't be caught DEAD in one.

It was awesome. I had so much FUN. What we lacked in bodies we made up for in cool tricks. Like, during the tea party scene, the Mad Hatter and March Hare and Doormouse puppeteer raced into the theater with the table, plunked it down, and sat down, STARING at Alice. They randomly leapt up and switched seats too, so that the whole audience could get a look at all of them.
I'm sorry you never did theater. It's one of my favorites things to do, especially Shakespeare.

Trufax, trufax if I ever heard any. Don't get me started on Deglado!Master and Three or Ainley!Master and Four + Five.

You just jinxed it. If Donna will ever be back it will be in a maid outfit... actually that wouldn't be so bad.

Oh it seems like so much fun!

*smirks* I think Fivey and Ainley were the slashiest. Just WATCHING it makes me feel dirty.

Did not! If worst came to worst, she'd spontaneously combust.

It WAS fun ... *beams at the memory* I particularly liked the scene where Alice meets the Cheshire cat in the woods and we all stood on chairs and struck abstract 'tree-poses' and made wood-noises like birds or crickets and STARED at Alice. When the cat said "We're all mad here!" we all giggled creepily.

Hee! I was in the musical version of 'Alice In Wonderland' as a playing card (I was the 8 of spades) and a juror when I was in school.

I'm gonna hug you again, because you're so sad from theater-deprivation.

I think "cosmic angst" is the best two-word phrase ever. It never fails to make me LOL.

A very usable phrase indeed, thanks to Fivey. XD

Now I desire a "Cosmic angst" icon, just because. Mm... looks like I'll file that away in the "I'll do it later when procrastinating hardcore on a huge project" list.
