... I never really thought about the Face of Boe's features before. It just struck me: he's an Olmec head. Same kind of size, weight, and dignity. I wonder if that's what the designers had in mind.

My husband and I both said "Olmec" when the FOB 1st appeared. I wonder why so few people see it.

I see it now that I...see it. But I've never encountered an Olmec image before so I wouldn't have seen it before.

You know, we covered them briefly in an art history class I took last semester (particularly about how some people have speculated that they are alien heads), and I'm really surprised I hadn't noticed that. Thanks for pointing it out.
