It's okay. The cyanide was covered up by the taste of ginger beer, walnuts, and sardines. No worries at all.

Oh lovely ! Actually I think anchovies are even worse than sardines - not only are they very fishy, they're also very salty. Probably he modern equivalent to Roman fish pickle, now I think about it. Ick!
