Think about it. We're basically in the land where scary things live AND this place has got a sense of humor. It makes sense to me that they'd put a lot of effort into the holiday with the ghost and monster themes.

Right, still getting used to this whole meeting-people-from-parallel-dimensions thing.

Halloween is a holiday in early fall. I'm not sure what the roots are, but basically the idea is people dress up in scary costumes, then go out and have a good time. Has to do with the spirit world coming closer to our world that day than any other or something.
