yeah, but do you get a cookie or something? I mean, half the time people don't even comment on the comic, they're so intent on being first. Just seems kind of rude.

Completely agree. I've been wondering about this "first comment/page" phenomenon as well.

While I agree that it is rude, it's even more annoying when people complain about it.
