The Future?
Well boys n gurlz...Its been a lil over a month since ive spoken to you all and things are slowly getting better.
I have a job as a mgr in training at Wendy's with a great mgmt crew, Tammy is a milf, I'm slowly getting caught up on my bills, mom and Cyd both have jobs, and I'm actually kinda cute without the long hair and goatee.
Anyway, today at work of all the people who could have stopped by.....my old boss, the one who I'd been good friends with for 6+ years that was forced to fire me on my own stupidity. I saw him and started shaking. I felt embarrassed. He was "omg" about the lack of my goatee and long hair. He and his cute wife placed their order and being the friend I am I hooked him up with my employee discount. I'm assuming he didn't expect me to give him anything cuz he smirked a bit when I gave him his total and said "I appreciate that".
We talked for a second while business was still slow but moving. He asked for my phone number and spole about his recent promotion to Area Supervisor.
Convo went like this.
Nick : "you know I'm not managing anymore right?"
Me : "Yeah, I heard..Congrats. How is it?"
Nick : "Not bad, kinda fun. Except when I fire managers, that part sucks, I'll call you later tonight"
This could be going two ways. He just wants to talk and was cracking at me about him having to fire me, as I was his Asst mgr, best one he had at that.
Or, now that he runs an entire area and has every say in what goes on he wants to give me another shot at getting the store that I so desparately wanted before I got fired.
He probably liked the fact that I had given myself an image facelift that the company had wanted me to do in order to appear more like a manager.
I'm hoping for the best and hope I can get out of Wendy's. I love my crew and the job is actually kinda fun but its just not my style of work, not the most glorious job either.
