Ben had the paint and brushes ready to go for whenever Daisy took the long walk across the hall. The only thing he really needed now was a good reason for why patched area of drywall was as large as it was. The best thing he had so far was "A bowling ball was thrown, tragically destroying my pantry."

Terribly long. She barely made it halfway to Ben's door before she felt like she needed to rest up a bit. She made it, though, clearly bolstered by the comfy overalls she had gotten specifically painting.

She missed the part where you didn't buy clothes for painting; you used the ones you had that were old, but she didn't care. You needed overall for painting, and they were cute besides.

She knocked on the door, reminding herself that it was painting, it couldn't be all that hard.

Ben walked over and opened the door. "Hey. Nice overalls. I see that you're prepared for some hard work."

"Well," said Daisy, "you did say it was a pretty big spot on the wall."

"I did. And I also decided to just go ahead and fix what wasn't broken and got a different color," Ben said. "So if you're up for it, there's a whole accent wall to paint."
