Good idea/bad idea??
I'm looking for a vote here.
I'm looking at flights for christmas, and it's going to cost around $500 to fly myself and my lizard home. My other option is driving, which would cost around $200, probably less. The only thing is that there are sections of the drive that may be snowy or icy, and I've never driven in snow before. When I talked about driving home last year, my father whined, bitched, and complained until I gave in and flew home. I'd prefer to drive home, but don't want to listen to the bitching. So here's the plan my sister, Stephen, and I came up with:
I tell my father I'm flying in on Friday. Then, I drive home on Thursday, and "surprise" him by getting home a day earlier than expected. At which point he flips out and kills me for driving home.
