Via ferrata Stoderzinken - review

Outlook from Stoderzinken.

Stoderzinken via ferrata garden was a kind of surprise. Despite description and maps, it exceeded any expectations.

The outlook is just stunning. In order to get to the start of the " via ferrata garden" ("klettergarten" in German) you have you reach one of 2 parking spots near to Stoder village. The "entrance" to the mountain is free. The exit costs 15 Euros/car. :)

It is about 20 minutes walk from the parking to the klettergarten.

A means start of the walk. E means start of the via ferrata, "Eingang" in German. The crucial advantage of the klettergarten is: many path are assembled into small area. You can spend lots of tries and attempts to improve your skills. You can try your "proficiency" on the via ferrata from grade B to E in pretty short time. And on the top of the mountain you can enjoy not just a breath taking view but the delicious  cowberry too. :)

Paths "Flora", "Karl", Julius", "David", "Franz" (in other words all except Peter and Emil) take about 2.5 hours including approach and return time.

There are not words to express the feeling of being there. The views, the clouds "eating you" and "spitting you" later, the experience you live at that moment. Just incredible, awesome, stunning!

The via ferrata was pretty crowded on the Saturday. However, the climbers accounted each other and it didn't make a problem to pass it without wasting time in lines.

The only bridge in the Stoderzinken was broken. Fortunately, I was a witness of 2 kind guys who arrived with material and equipment to fix the bridge. Hoping when you'll visit the Stoderzinken, you enjoy the newly renovated bridge.

A bit about grades of the Stoderzinken. I think, they are overrated. I.e. grade E actually is D. And A is just a hike :)
