This month of June, I give it a 7.
Feb = 9, Mar = 10 (or 10.1 if possible), April = 8, May = 7
And July?????? July!??!
Hopefully nothing ever goes below 6. But that's how I project my views on life anyway. I'm foolishly optimistic, and I think that's what everybody needs to be sometime.
The Taste of Chicago = yummy festival
2 days straight, we went to the taste of chicago, where they rip
you off instantly when you purchase 11 tickets for $7 (the tickets
were 50 cents each, so in theory, the payment should've been $5.50).
When I asked if I could purchase only TEN tickets, the nazis told
me "no." I then was forced to purchase 11 tickets, allowing them to
scam me $2 off... because I wanted that friggin' cheesecake so badly.
Props to piccasso who made the sculpture, the Phoenix, as a gift to
chicago. Way to provide great slides for the little kids.
Random days at the beach:
First day at the beach, residing with the jocks and cheerleaders.
Haha, this guy. I saw him at the beach again yesterday. He was wearing a red bandana.
Yesterday I became/was A KILLER BEAST, at volleyball. Not because
I'm asian, but because of natural talent they called skills (haha). We
played with the lacrosse players that were with us. Then these college
dorks came play with us. It was all good until we discover that they were
true nerds with anger-management problem, and that they can't play.
Twas fun.
Quinn kept on dunking us under the water and whipping us with the volleyball
and sandballs in the lake. The violence was exhilirating, and we were mad hurt.
For the past two weeks, random activities:
Now that friends have cars and apartment, we can do whatever we want. :-)
A lazy day at the beach.
And a quiet night in downtown.
Haha, a few days ago we were in downtown in front of Navy Pier near an hour til midnight, and these 25 year old nice NICE ladies were trying to get us into a bar at Dick's (you have to hear the whole story). I was ready to leave and on my feet with them, because... I KNOW I'M NOT 21. I KNOW I DON'T HAVE AN ID. And they do. And I had a little stradegy. And YEAH.
the people who are special to me:
None in particular order.
Also, I'm teaching.
Also, I'm working at the taste of chicago in july. :-)
Also, my dream boy is out of the picture (we are SO similar, it's scary... even our birthmark and birthdate and interest)
Also, I met a psychic lady who said I was special.
Also, I stopped worrying like I did in some week of May, because things are changing.
Also, I trust life again.
Ahh I have sand all over my room.
