Last Night: Good Charlotte Concert
So, It was NOT acoustic. They tricked us. It was a plugged show, oh wow. Me and Vi showed up at the 9:30 club at about 9am and we WERE NOT the first people tehre, either. Some guys from New York were there since 3am-4am and shit. Crazy. We met some really cool people there and shit. Fucking awesome.
So Vi and I were playing cards with these two girls Tina and Stephanie and Paul walks into the club at maybe 1 and everyoen thats in line goes "HEY PAUL!" and while they are screaming to Paul me, Vi, Steph and Tina were all like "YES I WON!" and into teh card game, it was fun. Josh Madden came out and handed everyoen buttons, aw he's so adorable. I love Josh so much.
So the doors opened at 6 and they fucked everyone up cause they told all the girls to get in one line and the guys in another so all the people like me and Vi that were there since 9am got shoved back by the rush of chicks that ran to teh front of the line, so I of course pushed back and blah blah. We got into the show to find the whole front row was taken, so of course me and Moira started pushing this old guy (cause all the guys were saving spots for their girlfriends.. etc) This 13 year old chick came up next to me and kept trying to get my attention by hitting me and hit and i was like OH MY GOD STOP. Anyways, she started saying she talks to joel online, yea ok I was laughing when she said that. But, yes, I did get to the front after bitching out some parents with Violette saying that their spots were saved.. yea.. no. Ther was this Tony Lovato-lookalike standing on the top section of the club and seriously EVERYONE thought it was Tony. When the first person took a picture and I saw his face in the light of the flash I was just like Damn. Thats NOT Tony Lovato. First off, he had the BRIGHT BLEACHED BLONDE HAIR (old OLD school, Tony), no tattoos, he was chubbier and I think Tony would be with Benji and Joel before the show was starting. But people didn't get that it wasn't Tony and kept taking pictures. Poor guys. Erm, so the show started and they opened up with the first track on The Chronicals of Life and Death-with the whole TNBC theme and shit. Then they played Festival Song and taht was the only song from the first cd that they played. They played so many new songs it was so cool to hear.
There was one part when they were playing, Joel jumped into the crowd RIGHT INFRONT OF VIOLETTE AND MOIRA and of course I squeezed in there and felt him up.. hehe WHAT?! HE JUMPED IN ONTOP OF ME! Eh hem, so then he jumped back up and him and Benji started pushing eachother, aw it was so cute. Joel was wearign a button up shirt, as was Billy and Benji and in the middle Joel took off his tie and unbuttoned the top of his shirt, jesus he's sexy. Then Billy was goign to throw in Joel's tie into the crowd but Joel stopped him saying it was a Christmas present or something haha. OH YEA so we were on Billys side and when he was playing the keyboard, Joel came over during Predictable and started randomly pushing buttons, he tries, he does. And Joel played guitar on 2 songs and used this line "Billy called me up last night and said 'Dude I can't play guitar and the piano at the same time. PLAY MY PART FOR ME' SO i put on the cd and learned it all last night. So this was my first time playing." Haha him and Benji were playign the same part and Billy was off on his own shit. I loved it. Chris and Joel and Billy kept looking at me, Vi and Moira.
At one point, Joel was right infront of me and he handed ME and water bottle, I was nice and shared it with everyone and I wanted to keep taht bottle, cause it was Joels. But the BITCH ASS security guard SNATCHED it out of my hands and threw it away. I was just like "What. The. Fuck." I let it slide though cause Joel kept coming over. Billy slapped Joel's ass. Joel and Billy were talking then Joel said something and started running and billy slapped his ass. That was a good moment.
Another good moment was when Paul and Chris were flirting and Billy and Paul were flirting, Paul poked Billy's nose and Billy smiled so big, like he was giggling or something then Paul went away laughing. Adorable I tell ya.
Mmm then Joel was makign fun of Benji cause he posts on the message boards as "Benji's chick 311" or something and always makes posts about how hot he is. That was amusing. Gah but it was so annoying, when Benji was trying to talk about 'Hold On' everyone was screaming for Joel or Billy and Billy got so pissed he kept telling people to stop. Some people don't get it. But they played 'Mountain', 'Ghost of You', 'Walk Away', 'Predictable', 'The World is Black, 'S.O.S.'. Oh wow, I'm so hyper for the new cd even more so now.
Then at the end of the show, Billy went to the edge of the stage and was throwing ME his guitar pick, but it slid through my fingers and I was trying to get it, and Billy saw that I missed the first one so he THREW ME ANOTHER ONE, violette is my witness for this. And I missed that one too cause I was trying to get the first one still, Lol. So I saw them both on the floor and I was trying to reach it when the security guard came over and was like, "BACK OFF!" and basically almost pushed me back from the picks, he grabbed both of them, and gave them to SEVEN EYAR OLDS. I was like "....." Billy fucking gave me 2 picks and missed them both... to 7year old. I was about to kill that security guard, fucking taking away Joels water bottle, and then 2 picks from Billy. Those girls WERE NOT there from 9 in the fucking morning. Dammit.
Sigh. But all in all, it was a really good concert. I advise you all to buy the cd when it comes out. The new songs are so awesome. Now, I am going to sleep <33
