Let's just say that today I'm even less of a fan of Kenny Chesney than I had been yesterday.
So went to go grab some food today and go to leave and Kenny Chesney's 18 wheeler is parked across a whole mess of parking spaces unloading at the bar next door for the concert tonight.
Anyway I scope it out, I can get out. Start backing out all is well until...crunch. Hit a fire hydrant that I failed to notice in my initial scoping and could not see in my mirrors. Oh well I still blame myself more than Kenny Chesney.
So end of the story, bumper cover is shattered, there's a pretty good size dent into the body of the car and a small dent into the trunk which seems to have knocked the sides a bit in on the left and out on the right (only slight, trunk still works ok)
Will probably see how much I can fix myself, find a new bumper cover from a junkyard, go at the metal with a rubber mallet, etc. Car isn't worth enough to take it in and pay the value of the car to fix it.
