so you know, I typed the last two long posts for boards and just xposted to lj so don't feel special
Well I pretty much know that right now I don't care for video games at all.
My roomate has done nothing but play Resident Evil 4 and Halo 2 the last 2 weeks and its just pissing me off.
The last game I bought aside from selling some neo kits and rebuying the carts was Killer 7 over the summer when it came out it was a total impulse buy and afterwards I couldn't believe I'd spent 60 bucks on it, still it was fun and I did play it. The last game before that was Alien Hominid and that was nearly a year ago now.
I haven't done anything more than putz around for 5 minutes in a couple games (Dr. Mario, Garou: MOTW, Mario Kart: Double Dash) since I beat Killer 7.
I have no interest in the next gen system except to see what the Revolution can do.
I have no interest in the portable market, the DS had me until I realized that I didn't care to spend 200 bucks to get a system.
It seems the cost is more prohibitive for me now when I have money than when I was in high school and had allowance money.
Have a half done supergun with no desire to finish it
So anyway I'm wondering I know a few of you have gone through this before do you think its best to go nuts, sell everything, then whenever I get the buy again the rebuy some stuff? Or just hang onto it all until I feel the need to turn something on again down the road.
And to be honest no matter how gay this is right now I'm knitting something and having more fun than any game in the past 3 months.
