An event not to be missed

The party at Castle Darkendale is going to be great. Toni and her crew have put lots of work into it which is bound to pay off. The food will be awesome - I experienced Ellen's catering at a Durham banquet and it knocks the socks off anything ever experienced at a larp event. There'll be ceilidh and music and ic bar and lots of cool people and it will all be good.
Though some more cool people getting their bookings in or at least promising to do so once the financial nightmare that is January is over, would probably help someone sleep a little better :)

This was inspired by the brilliance that was the Hearth and Home event last year. If you were there, you know how good it can be. If you weren't and had to listen to the froth (and the Davy MacSnaga song), you know you can't miss this too. Bravo to Toni for getting up off her behind to organise this for us - I for one am very much looking forward to an event where I get to play with my faction (and not just with their heads :)).

I've also checked and Void Lance secondaries are all more than welcome. It's about time some of you dusted off the hat and cloak again :) A social event is also a really good time for new VLers to drop in - have a quick chat with me if that appeals.

I suspect if anyone feels their currect character has no ic reason to go but ooc they would like to come and be supportive, then secondaries may be an option and Toni could probably help with flanging in something suitable :)

Anyway, the crosspost from Toni with the details...

Thanks to everyone who's booked so far for A Party at Castle Darkendale (27-29 April). If you haven't, you can download a booking form or book online at: http://www.26herbs.co.uk/darkendale/

The first cheap booking deadline passes on 31st JANUARY, so if you want to get in for £35, book now.

This event is open to everyone, not just Darkendales/PBs/Lions, and we'd love to see as many of you there as can come - much fun & games are planned, with contests (shiny!), Bardic entertainment (tuneful!), banquets (delicious!), a ceilidh (watch where you put that hand!), some plot (cos we love you that much!) and much drinking (hic!). Above all, it's a chance to chill out and do some roleplay without incipient zombies.

And on top of all that, you get the warm glowy feel of providing moral support to your friends :) It's gonna be great :)
