what i did for the 4th
i love that i now can shoot concerts with available light and have vitually no noise. all these were shot with a 50mm f/1.8, but my new 50mm f/1.4 comes in tomorrow! and then i'll need the new 70-200 f/2.8 vr (you know, the next time i have $1600 laying around). and look at those colors! except for some creative cropping on a couple of these, everything else is pretty much straight out of the camera. it's so nice not to have to photoshop everything to get the images i want. also, nikon's capture nx software is BRILLIANT. more to come.
