I just switched to Verizon. I have 15 days to decide if I like it.
I had a T-mobile phone that I loved but the speaker died so it wouldn't ring. Plus, I was talking to Verizon people, and it is costing me 100 bux extra a month. BUT, a ray of hope! The Motorola V3m, everything I loved about my Moto. V360, and with the new provider.
Well, no. The company puts proprietary software on the system and none of Motorola's neat stuff (actually a good predictive text code) and ability to customize are gone.
I have 13 days (now) to find out how to A) remove verizon's crap and install the orig. motorola software, or B) throw it back, stay with T-mobile and try to get the people who use verizon on some kind of plan. They have the "5 people you call most = free" plan, for a contract extension.
I talk to T-mobile tomorrow to see. Been with them for 2.5 years and I'm pretty ok with them. (I have unlimited texting and t-mobile to t-mobile calling) All for 60 bux, I'd rather see that word "Unlimited".
Another option is that I still have a Cingular account and can use my old phone (v360) with them, and maybe get a good contract.
13 days!!!
