I finally have internet.  After two years of being without it I finally have internet. You guys have no idea how exciting this is for me.  What it means is that I will be on here so much more now that I can update on a regular basis.  I want to start getting back into my blog and meeting with everyone again (and meeting new people of course

As for Jim/Bones fic to read on the plane... I'm ALMOST done posting "The Needs of the Few." That should take a couple of hours to read, start to finish. I'll post it on AO3 so you can download it, if you want. :D

Yes! I've been wanting to own a house for so long, and now that I finally do I literally could cry. Same with owning my little puppy - she's a mess, but good Lord, does she make me happy! I will certainly take a lot of pictures!

Count me in on the AO3 download as soon as you get it up. I've been waiting for you to finish it so I could read it all in full :D So glad to hear that's finally happening.

Also, I believe the roommate and I will be coming through your area in the next few months (I think we're planning on mid-July?) I'm taking her up to Riverside - she's a new Trek fan and loves her some Jim, so who wouldn't want to go visit his home town. Perhaps we could swing lunch/dinner when I do? I'd love to see you!

Hmmmm... Riverside, Iowa is about five hours from where I live. I'm in Kansas City. But seriously, I'd LOVE for you and your roommate to stop by. Mid-July? I should be around. We also have very adequate guest accommodations, if you want to stay in Kansas City with us. (Open invitation.) Kansas City is actually pretty awesome. Lots to do. I should take you to McCoy's pub and brewery. :D

Yeah, I remember it didn't take long to get from Kansas City to Riverside when I went with you guys to TrekFest :) And I remember your guest room was very nice! We very well may have to take you up on that offer, depending on if we're staying in KC before heading up to Riverside.

Ah, I thought you didn't remember how long it really took. Not too many people consider five hours a short drive. LOL. Granted, as much as I've traveled, I don't think it's very far, so I guess I'm atypical.

I hope you decide to stay in KC. There are some awesome restaurants I should bring you to, and you KNOW that my guest room is absolutely available to you. The Geek Cave has been vastly improved with super-comfy futons and beanbags and a big TV, and we could watch Star Trek. :D

Well, the thing is, we're going to be bringing our dogs with us and we certainly don't want to invade your homes with little pug friends. Unless that's okay with you, but I offer a warning :)) If nothing else, we will rent a hotel room that evening and nothing says we can't all have an epic evening of fun!

I've had many friends invade my home with the company of their dogs. We even dog-sit for friends who drop their pooches off at our house. We have a labrador mix and a cat, so if your dogs are friendly to other animals, bring them along! And there will be much epic fun. :D

Oh! Well then! We will probably take you up on that offer! We're still working out details on when we'll be making that trip (going to Europe for two weeks in about three weeks), but it will probably be around mid-July, early August. I'm really excited - love to see you again :))
