I know I've been quiet for the past few days. There really isn't much that's been going on. I am now enrolled in summer classes, and ready to get started on those. I about smacked my enrollment adviser. Lady, I know I flunked out and that I'm an idiot. I didn't make excuses. You don't have to talk to me like I'm five years old.
I also made an impulse decision and applied at Oklahoma City University. Why? Hell, I'm not sure. If I do decide to go for the full blown D.V.M degree (yes, I know it's insane. That's why I haven't made a decision yet, and probably won't for the next year), then OCU would provide me with the BA in Biology that I would need. The good thing about this is I would have a good year to make the decision between Vet Tech school and full blown Veterinary School. Yes, I know it's insanely hard to get into (OSU has roughly 300 people apply every year. 82 get in), but if I go that direction, I'd put everything into getting in. I feel confident that working in the Veterinary field is what I want to do with my life, whether it be a full blown vet degree or a Veterinary Technician. I'm so excited to be working toward that, I can't even tell you. And nervous. I'm worried I'm not smart enough.
But we've heard that already.
Still haven't heard from the vet office - I'm not sure if that's because I wasn't hired, or if she's just insanely busy and doesn't have time to call. I'm not going to worry about it. If I don't get it, I think my job search is over for a while.
My new glasses came in today. I love them! The only problem is, they need adjusting quite badly. I did it a little myself, and that helped slightly. I'm going to change the pads from the old ones to the new one, and see how that helps. I don't want to have to stop wearing them because they're painful :( They're a little too tight. My old pads were very thin and fit VERY comforatbly. The new ones are in the same place now as my old ones, but they're thick. Just . . hoping D: No one else has an issue with glasses fitting. Why is my nose funny? :( Does anyone else have natural soreness when they get new glasses?
