(no subject)
so i went to the audition.
wiiiicked awkward.
i was the only girl there and the only person under 35.
i had to read a commerical for my audition. it wasn't a read ad, just something they typed up.
it was so effin sexual.
it was an ad for a type of wine. we were instructed to pause everytime there was a "..." and put emphasis on words underlined. well just so happened the words "mmmm it tastes good" were the only words underlined. and they showed uplike 4 times.
not to mention i was in a little studio with just myself and a wicked creepy gyu with like 2 teeth runnig the equipment.
so i read it whatever. it was pretty easy.
but im not sure i want to do it.
its an internet radio station.
this company basicaly trains you and gets you air time so they can advertise you to other big companies and radio stations.
you work for them for lik 5 weeks earning 10-15 bucks an hour
after that 5 wks is up they give you your own show. from there you have to pay show fees and the only way you get paid is through sponsorship which you have to find on your own.
so basically its as though you started your own business. they are just giving you equipment, air space and a studio for around 30 bucks a show.
i think it'd be great if i had the time and money to put into it but i don't so im not gunna do it.
but..i called them today to see if i made it...i did.
it feels great to know i could do soemthing like that.
im happy that i made it in a big time audition. huge ego boost. well needed too.
eh. well im going to boston today. meeting a guy. and goig to the tatto convention with jen.
