[ A sigh. A long, drawn out sigh. Not a particularly sad sigh, but it isn't exactly happy either. Just... Well, more like frustrated. Not angry, just annoyed. ]All of that for nothing? Call me an optimist, but I'm just glad we made it out alive

For the most part! We made it out with pretty minimal damages.

What about you? [ He might sound worried. Obviously she's okay now, right? But still! ]

I was ok. There didn't seem much point to fighting once the robot came along.

[ignorant]

Me neither. We made a pretty narrow escape and ended up in that ghost town.

So, you made it out okay then?

[ariesapocalypse]

Correct. I was in that other town for a bit, too, but a friend helped me escape once the noise started.

[ignorant]

Good. That place definitely gave me the creeps.

I'm just glad it's all over, even if we aren't home.

[ariesapocalypse]

Apparently this place is definitely better in its normal state.

[ignorant]

So much better. As cool as a giant mecha that shoots milk is, I'd rather just see it in a comic book.

[ He laughs at that one. ]

And the houses are fixed too!

It is sort of amazing. How did they manage that?

[ignorant]

I dunno! Magic? Wizards? Super advanced technology?

Though, considering they don't have cellphones, I kinda doubt the last one.

Maybe some combination of those.

[ignorant]

It could be. I say this calls for some investigation.

[ariesapocalypse]

An investigating adventure?

[ignorant]

Exactly. If the highway's still up anyway.

[ariesapocalypse]

I have not heard that it has vanished, so we can probably assume so.

[ignorant]

Well, maybe the ghost town is still there too. It wouldn't hurt to check!
