Jared wakes up feeling disoriented and as he tries to get up he bangs his head on something. His vision isn't really like it used to be and he wonders if it really wasn't good idea to let Jensen talk him into impromtu drinking game which resulted at least two emty tequila bottles.
He shakes his head and scrambles forward before realizing that he's under his kitchen table. And has a set of paws in front of him. He rushes out from under the table and bangs his head on one of the chairs on his way.
"Fuck," he thinks and looks frantically around.
Harley lays on one of the dog beds and Jared rushes over. He really doesn't think his big dumb mastiff can do anything about him suddenly being a dog but Harley's presense feels familiar and safe. He pokes Harley with his front paw and the big dog startles awake. Jared has to take a step back as Harley seems huge in front of him even if he stands only few inches taller than Jared in dog form.
"What..?" Harley barks at him and sits back on his hind legs.
"Hey, easy boy," Jared tries to sooth him in the usual way.
"Sadie?" Harley cocks his head. "I'm asleep right?"
"I'm not Sadie. I'm Jared. It's okay, just calm down, boy," Jared rambles not really knowing what to say.
"Boy?" Harley says. "Fuck you."
"What?"
"I'm not your fucking dog, Jay!" Harley says.
"Jensen?"
"Damn right!"
"What... Why? How did this happen?" Jared asks.
"How would I know? We're your god damn dogs. It's your fault," Jensen says.
Jared has to fight not wagging his tail too happily since the look on Jensen's borrowed canine face is just too funny.
"Only good thing is that at least I'm not a girl dog..." Jensen mutters at him.
Their exchange is cut short by steps on the doorway.
"So," someone says in Jared's voice. "What should we do first?"
Jared and Jensen both turn to look up and then up a little more to two very familiar faces.
Jensen smiles down at them. "Maybe that dry kibble? Or nail clipping? Vet visit?"
Then he turns to face Jared, the human one, and they both exclaim: "Bath!"
