I. Last night gotravel and I went to see Thenewno2 open for Wolfmother.
The venue wasn't the best but it was one of those 'if we don't see him now, when will we get another chance?' scenarios. Plus, either it's the tiredness talking or I am such a fuddy duddy because I like seats! The last time I went to a concert that was standing room only was the U2 one near the Brooklyn Bridge, which worked out all right since I was full of adrenaline and Bono was fifty feet away. Here, I just got tired and a little cranky with fellow concert go-ers (I am too short for this standing behind dudes business), but eh, THE BAND WAS AWESOME, so. That overcame it. I was thoroughly rocked and rolled.
He came out wearing that hat. It was very adorable, it had little ears.
II. I got Howl's Moving Castle for j2_everafter. SO EXCITED OH MY GOD. I've wanted to write some version of it for ages. This also calls for repeat viewings and optional listening to Christian Bale's voice. All good things!
III. Annnd Jensen got engaged to Danneel. YAAAYYYY! I'm very happy for them! :D
