okay, that isn't fair. (a revised movie opinion!)

I finished watching The Incredible Hulk.

I didn't like it as much as the first movie but after the first... forty minutes? I started to like it more. Again, they modeled a lot of it on the 70's series which I've seen a few episodes (yay for Lou Ferrigno cameo!). I actually started to like it more during the scene where Bruce becomes the Hulk on the college campus. Lots of gratuitous violence and action, but maaan, the Bruce/Betty still kills me and all the Hulk and Betty interaction was wonderful in this. (More than Bruce/Betty. Sorry?)

Some other cool things: the CGI for the Hulk was much better for this movie than the other. Although I did like how the old Hulk looked like Eric Bana a little bit, here, he looks straight out of the comics. Cool.

The little nods to his attacks and catch phrases were also pretty neat, as was the TONY "Tony Stark was able to build this in a CAVE! With a BOX OF SCRAPS!" STARK CAMEO. So he was the Samuel L. Jackson of this movie then, huh? Also loved how they had Bruce able to control his powers at the end. Cool. If they make another movie, I'll see it, though I'm thinking they'd sooner make The Avengers first.

Oh, DC -- Marvel's off to a better start in terms of cross promotion. Let's ignore the JLA movie fiasco and the lack of getting Routh or Bale to be in it, shall we?
