[Stumbles forward a little, then glares at the imp. Feeling mean, she jerks her arm up over her head.]

[Gives a startled yelp, but glares right back. With a wicked grin, she aims a kick at Ashelin, using it to do an awkward backflip.]

[This throws her off balance and she goes with the fall, like she would. Lands hard, instead, unable to roll with a ninja flipping in the other direction. Grabs the chain connecting the cuffs and pulls, hard.]

[She stumbles forward, catching herself. At first, she considers returning the favor, but instead decides to do something worse. She reaches up to pull her hair.]

Look. The only set of keys I had are in the sewers. We can go to the station and get another set or we can go down there, in the dark, and fight whatever's there and search for the keys.

[At that, she uses her free hand to tap her chin, pretending to contemplate on it.]

[Narrows her eyes at the girl, trying to figure out what she's plotting. There has to be something.]

... [Narrows her eyes for a while back. Yes, she is plotting, but like hell she'll say it. After a moment she grins, innocently but still with some deviousness.]

[Weighs her options. She can go to the station, which the girl seems to want. She can go to the high school to find something to pick the cuffs with. Or fight monsters in the dark, with a child cuffed to her dominant hand.]

[Yanks her arm up again, pulling the girl off balance long enough to frisk her. Not a lot of good fathers in her life-- she wants those pictures back for Maes.]

[Her smile only seems to widen.]

[The impish grin soon fades as she's a little disoriented, shaking her head a little and not noticing what Ashelin's doing until a moment later. The photos are all hidden underneath her headband.] I don't think so. [Swiping out her boomerang, because somehow the Shuriken got stuck in an out of reach wall, she throws it past Ashelin and waits for it to come back.]
