Well... our incredibly hard work from fighting the recession, being in debt to start, having to get a new buisness number and re-apply for not for profit, and certain individuals in the community acting against us.... a new board with no previous experience....
We managed, inspite of that and more, the odds were very stacked against us, to pull of the most successful Pride Calgary has had to date. Record breaking parade entries for Calgary, first time ever the Police Chief has given a speech during the festival. First time ever the Pride flag was raised in City hall.
First time ever we've come away with this much profit that will ensure next year's Pride.
That and SO much more.
The dance was amazing. So many people were stunned at the venue that we got for the dance...
