You realize that at $440 a month you can have a one bdrm apartment a) drastically less cost in utils b) don't have to put up with worrying about roomy's making rent etc c) all the alone time you could ever want.
I don't know if you signed the lease already but it sounds like you ran into the same problem I did, don't depend on others to help you financially, it causes much unneeded stress. Perhaps a house might be too much for you right now ? All I know is that April and I are looking to BUY a house and the monthly payments are right around $600 a month which isn't far off from where you're at.

yeah i realize its cheaper but i really dont want to live alone. i get bored enough living in a house with 2 other people. the dorms were great when i was bored and wanted to hang. im just not an alone kinda person.
it wont be a problem finding people to live here, just a matter of making sure i could tolerate them for a year..
well my current roommate jason, i am tolerating, although i'd frequently like to stab him in the eye. so if i can avoid jackasses like him, i'll be fine.
