the other advantage from be being in school again is the renewed intrest in doodling superheroes on my notes for class.... case in point... its good to have a hobby, and its good to build my confidence back, that has been needed more than i want to admit and i never seem to draw anymore unless im supposed to be doing something else... like working... or taking notes :P
oh and on an extra note, this isnt the only pic of the motherfucking batman ive done lately, i had another rough sketch on that page im donig a larger version of, a psudo religious spoof i wrote the words "holy emo kid batman" next to... with ol bats not looking too unlike a young morrissey with his wilted flowers :P
looking at my work as of late i wish the lines were cleaner after inking them, they feel a little too shakey for my tastes, but thats really at least in part due to the time ive spent since i had to do anything with actual india ink, vs ballpoint pen or random little brush markery things... as im looking out over the work for the semester im facing the fact i need to get my hand smoothed out again, its never been super crisp but it used to be better than this shit.... ill post that pic too when it gets finished.
