Is that a house arrest bracelet in your pocket or do you got a dick like me?
I didn't go to class today (oh yeah, I'm back at college) . Stupid; because there's an assessment deadline next week but necessary; because my headache was so powerful that it woke me up. Oh well, it was only Becky and Kate's lessons that I missed. So instead of turning wool into fuzzy felts (seriously) and putting up with Becky's immaturity I spent the day collaging provocative words from magazines into my sketchbook, words like: STYLE and FASHION. Hopefully, the overall effect will result in everyone thinking that I'm rather clever and controversial as opposed to the truth which is , meh, why not cut bits of crap out and stick it down in random places?
I've been on a bit of a download spree as of late, pilfering free goodies whenever I can. My latest example of theft? Why, Total Recall, of course. Yes, that immortal movie that, in one of the scenes, depicts Arnie's head damn near exploding from what appears to be a lack of oxygen (what? I'm sure that happens). I tried to nab The Running Man while I was at it but was shot down by a severe lack of seeders (assholes). Anyway! Whilst watching TR I noticed how much it reminded me of Mass Effect (awesome game). What with its deep and mysterious music with hypnotic synth overtones and its old school sci-fi theme, Mass Effect is basically an eighties movie with a level up page, which I certainly can't fault because, lets face it, the eighties rocked (sometimes).
Ahhhhhhhhhh, I love Sci Fi.
I've been drawing a lot recently and y'know what? I'm getting better. I can actually tell the difference between shit I did two weeks ago to the stuff I'm doing now (FYI Mass Effect/Genshiken fan art - *shrug* I'm hooked). Its nice to have a feeling of progression, even if its just a little everyday.
WAH! I really want to see the next Genshiken episode - Need some more MadaSaki innuendo. Hohoho. And, y'know, SasaOgi... whatever ¬_¬
