well, I'm home for spring break.
my old extange student sebastian called me thursday to tell me I needed to pick him up from the airport friday. I'm real glad he decided to come visit me. he wants to go to florida and do the big spring break thing.... not really my bag but you know, I'll try anything once. funds are still kind of tight from january though... not sure if I can afford the trip.
friday we had a pretty huge party. strange thing... it was a HUGE party, but all new people. no one from our earlier partys was there. I'm not sure how I feel about how quickly we rotate through friends in columbus. luckily my friends from tupelo showed up. kyle, gabe, chris doyle, niki, christy, mike, simon, sarah, nathan, kat..... all the cool kids. the rest of the party was forrest's new frat friends. I met them all, some of them are pretty cool.... some of them are your typical frat boys.
what with dad home, and krista home, myself and sebastian... everybody here... I haven't seen my mom this happy in many many years. everybody is home, here, and problem free, on top of that sebastian is from a time when things were swell, before everything took a turn for the worst. he brings with him good memories. when we came home she gave a smile so big it looked like her skeleton could have leaped out and run to give us a hug. it was shaky, it hasn't had the exercise it needs to hold itself up... I've never been so happy to see a shaky smile before.
I love being here.
and now I'm watching the fith season of the gilmore girls. I love it. always been a gilmore fan, keep that on the dl though, I have a beard to live up to. man, if they made real girls this witty, no one would have invented alcohol.
