So L'Abri is...awesome. Not to say that I've always had fun and such, but just that in general I'm very glad that I came. I haven't regretted it for a second, but I really wish I could hang out with everyone at the same time. I guess I neglected to tell some people about it (Jeremy J...haha) but yeah. I study for 4 hours a day, I'm living with a big group of people ranging from 19-28 (not counting the adults) and we cook all our own meals, have discussions, bible studies, hang out (watching movies today since it's our day off), had a ninja night, all sorts of cool stuff. I've been studying some stuff about grace and general christianity. Discussions go every which way...such as about evolution, physics, pretty much anything in life. I don't tend to participate in them too much unless I actually know something about the matter, but I love listening to people. I've been generally really content here, but there were a couple days where I just didn't feel good about being here, but some time in the sunken garden (this awesome old overgrown garden with stone walls and foot bridges and stuff a little ways back in the woods) and some really awesome prayer time and I felt better. I've learned to crochet and I'm making a scarf right now (cougar colours haha) and yeah...anyone want a scarf? I tried learning to knit, but I was a failure. I'm just more original than all those L'Abri knitters! People here are so interesting though...we play frisbee after lunch every day. Usually ends up being me, Seth, Cheryl, and Nathan, but sometimes other people come in which is always cool. I love homemade bread, I'm really convicted here to go home and make it. I've been sort of keeping contact with people back West, but not too well, so sorry! Man...now I want homemade bread. Anyways, outing have included the dump (I got the "Dilbert Principle" at the giveaway bookshelf), Walmart, the gas station, a black church, a Lutheran church, the library...and most recently, the Bargain Box! It's the Episcopalian church's little thrift shop. I got some pants that were way too big, a belt to hold them up, and red penguin pajamas...all for 6 bucks. Awesome. Anyways if any of you wanna send a letter or anything, email me and I'll be sure to give you my address here. Bye all, see you guys in November!
