(no subject)
my sinuses are congested again. i slept until nine which is late for me. my only day off, and i've been sweating in my overalls while doing much put off lawn work. i can't bare to rake up the leaves. they're too pretty. i even felt fall enough to go buy a ton of different looking pumpkins and corn stalks to put on the porch. i might even get out the crock pot and make up some spicy mixture. soups have been a regular thing stewing in the crock, and i made a wonderful carrot cake the other day, that i'm eating too much of on my own. the cats have been sleeping on the bed with me most of the night. i'm jumping the gun on turning the heater on at night, my down comforter does a good job, and god knows i can't afford the gas bills anyhow. work has been slow. it's between seasons, and seeing that all of my clients, who are well off, have several other homes and are here and gone constantly...it's been hard. putting in a few hours at the coffee house to make ends meet. missing my friends a lot. looking into a school called bastyr in washington. maybe next year. rent the house, and get out the the akward city i now live in. i want to sing in a band. i found someone to teach me how to play the cello too. it's a bit of a dream, and frankly..my voice isn't that great.
