Another's interest in what we casually refer to as thought has done more than make me smile. Her intake of knowledge learned outside of textbooks and uncomfortable student desks has drastically altered my opinion. She's always had a mind of her own, and as of late has been putting it to good use. To say I was proud would have me sounding motherly and taking credit for her recent change, but there is no other adjective I could fathom that would describe the way I feel now.

I'm excited to have someone(s) that I can comfortable converse with.
More excited for this than the ending of school, as a matter of fact.
