So I came back early from a hunting trip... some really adorable and cute kids were here, but I could tell Haine was almost ready to kill them, so I went shopping in Seattle just to give him room in case he chose to slaughter them (trust me he was definitely considering it and I'm not sure I blame him

No...it's probably just the flu or something. Dr C will be home soon. What happened, was there a huge emergency at the hospital or something?

Hmm... oh. Some kids swerved into the other lane to avoid an animal and ended up hitting another car. No deaths, in the end, but he was/is in surgery for some of the people involved.

That'll be huge news around Forks for a while. Biggest accident in two years, I think.
