Summer and Fall
It looks like I may be enrolling in the Music Education program at UMD. For a second Bachelor's. It should take 1 year of course work and 1 semester of student teaching, then I'll be certified to teach music to Pre-K to 12 graders! Hoorah! Well, sort of anyway. It'll give me more job opportunities in the area (good!) and hopefully I'll get some useful things out of the classes. Maryland's MusEd program is quite strong.
Second: Itinerary! Joey and I finally sat down and planned out a rough itinerary.
First 10 days: Choir tour through England and Wales: London, Cambridge, Ely, Stratford-upon-avon, Swindon, Chester...
Next 3.5 weeks: We travel by ourselves to the following cities: London, Paris, Normandy & Loire regions, Alsace/ Colmar, Rothenburg, Munich, Prague, Bayreuth, Berlin, fly back to London, and then fly home!
Do any of you have contacts in these cities or have been there before and have recommendations of what we should go see? I'm sure this bears no mentioning, but I am REALLY excited!! ^_^
