toes and opiates

For the last three weeks my toe has been double its normal size, really sore, and red. I finally went to the health center, he has no idea what's wrong, said to wear a bandaid and maybe run a little less, gave me an antibiotic in case of staph infection, and a bottle of vicodin. ?.
i've been laughing all day because my life really is sort of ridiculous, i go in for a toe being a small nuisance and leave with a bottle of vicodin... it just amuses me.
