A Mission Statement
One may ask what I hope to accomplish with this blog, and I suppose the most rational way to answer that is I want to discuss Batman. Many blogs do that already, but I want to offer my perspective as someone who has sometimes unknowingly had the Batman Mythos running through his veins since birth.
The main features you can expect are recaps of the animated series, as I go back and rewatch the very thing that sparked my love for the caped crusader way back when I was four years old, an appreciation for the golden age comics that get so overlooked today, discussions on how Batman's rogues gallery can be better written and explored as characters, and looks into the more obscure areas of Gotham that modern fans seem to forget.
And of course, The Riddler.
Edward Nigma is my favorite character, and yet as much as I love him, others seem to despise him, or see him as useless. It's sad that even attempts to reestablish him as an important figure in the Batman world seem to only undermine his character (Hush and Pushback anybody?).
