this entry will probably sound emo to you because i am a little pissed off. read if you'd like.
this whole deal with people being killed in other countries is killing me, in a sense. i find it hard to enjoy activites and living with everything i need and want. we bitch about dumb shit like "aww bro that show sucked tonight... i hate hardcore straight edge kids... emo kids are gay... i cant find my bright eyes cd. and dont tell anyone i own it... i wish i were dead..." and bullshit like that when in other places people dont have homes. at night we hear crickets, or cars before we sleep. others hear gunshots or bombs. and its not even only people being killed by useless american hicks but also those who are dying because of a stupid fucking piece of land. or of aids or other fatal diseases no one here even notices. or cares enough about to try and help.
and let me clarify about those in the military: i'm all for helping your country. WHEN ITS FOR A GOOD CAUSE. when you actually know what the fuck you're fighting for. but when i hear about sickos taking pictures with pow's... it really makes me want to fucking puke.
thank god voting time is coming up. and if any of you think the current war is justified... you can shoot yourself in the head. have your neighborhood blown up and watch your family get killed when you had nothing to do with any terrorist attacks then tell me it was all for a good reason. especially those of you who have never even been to another country. all you know is america. its easy to support your country when you've never experienced another one. its easy to be against people who techically dont exist to you because you've never encountered them.
but i've seen it. i've seen families who have nothing. where their 3 year old children are already working because they have to to survive. i've seen their houses made out of cheap brick and clay. and its heartbreaking.
something has to be done.
i'm leaving it to you to educate yourself. not by watching the news or reading the newspaper because trust me when i say you're being ripped off.
travel. see the world. see other peoples lives then make your own opinion. but dont be another ignorant person in this world who only knows whats here and whats given to them. thats the last thing we need. bring back some humanity.
