OUCH.
I made up my mind not to do guard, well 'B'-guard at least... seeing as how I can't do the actual winterguard. oh well, there's always next year, but I'd have loved to do it with Adamo and Kimi and Jessica this year.
Today was the first day of indoor perc. Like last year, it was just practicing warmups, and figuring out who's good on what instrument. We have FOUR CYMBALS, including me, and that's a bit much.. so we might cut back to two or three. Two would be Tara and Katie, no doubt, but three I'm not sure. Either way, I'm in and hopefully this season we win because North chickened out and we have no real competition this year. =]
My arms are still throbbing and my hands shake if I lift them past my shoulders. Cymbals = ouch if you aren't used to them. I can show you the blood blisters to prove it. Apparently I look like I cut the insides of my arms haha. greattt. I get to do it all over again tomorrow too, haha. Three toooooo five.
I have to write an FRQ for Westin, and then it's bed for me because Mrs Tidwell is gone the rest of the week and I dont have to read that ridiculous book on Mormonism. Sweet deal.
