Gene Therapy is a new technology that has helped fix some genetic diseases in human beings. Gene Therapy is still experimental in some aspects but with more new advances in the scientific world, Gene Therapy will be about to advance further. Even though Gene Therapy isn’t a sure way to fix diseases it does help. There have been many people with diseases such as hemophilia and cancer that have had Gene Therapy and are healthier because of it. The people with diseases in our world can use Gene Therapy to improve there lives and it can help them have a more normal and healthier life. Even though there are improvements in peoples life’s due to Gene Therapy some people believe that it’s immoral. The ethnical issue with Gene Therapy is that after people have their diseases fixed they might also want their other flaws fixed too and then those people will change so much that their not who they originally were at birth. The way that this ethnical problem could be solved is by putting set laws in that ban the use of Gene Therapy for any other reason but to fix a disease. I feel that putting more laws and restrictions on Gene Therapy will make it more beneficial to people but also not harmful to society. Some people might not agree with me because they might want to fix all their flaws, but by fixing all of peoples flaws we lose individuality and uniqueness which helps the human race evolve and develop more. Even though there are issues with Gene Therapy I believe that in the future it will be used for the good of people and that the law will help stabilize and protect Gene Therapy from people who would want to abuse it’s advances.
