(no subject)
I think things are taking a turn for the better-- or at least I hope so. I got an internship for the summer with a marketing company called Modology, who also offered me a job post-college if all goes well. I'm unbelievably excited for it! It's stationed in both Bushwick and Union Square until they officially move everything to their Union Square office in June/July. I think this is a good step forward in my life and career path.
My mother will be here in 3 hours to help me pack my shit and go home for summer. I'm dreading it. I have such an extreme attachment to Purchase now. I'm glad I have this internship though. It'll get me out of the house. Lucky for me, it's really close to Zoe, Emma, Eric, Larry, Stephen Faught, Emmet, and Anders. And, of course, I already live close to Jenn, Christian, and DaveandKate. I'm positive I'll see Jill, Lauren (when she visits), Chris and probably Steve. Nick and Edd are going to visit soon, which will be easier for Nick now since he'll be interning in the city too. The only people that I'm unsure if I'll see or not are Minoo and Jack. Peter and Wolfgang too, I think, but they might be in NY. Who knows. But I'll see a majority of my good friends, which is more than I had last summer and I have high hopes.
Oh ALSO: I finally made myself a flickr account. It was time I scanned my photos from Photo I this past semester, I guess. I don't know if I'll continue with photo classes, but I like the mechanical tediousness of printing. (It's probably because I'm anal.)
