Well, day...whatever it is of ...whatever they're calling the deletions this time around. The situation has devolved to Jensen Ackles spam and pictures of naked rugby players. Smart money for when LJ actually responds (other than employees making fun of the situation) is, I think, still on Tuesday.

Do we need 'rules'? Is the description sorta clear? Should we both post an introduction post about ourselves? (I think we should).
Anything else?
Oh and I guess we'll need an icon. I didn't think I should use the 'subtext/buttsex' one, because a) that's not mine, b) that's not all that the comm's about, and I don't even think it's *subtext*.
And, I found quite a few people who'd be interested in an invitation!

I think it's clear, we shouldn't need too many other rules. Just, like, the common sense sort of stuff (no flaming, etc.)

Yeah, we'll need an icon. I'd thought about the subtext/buttsex one as well but came to the same conclusions. XD I'd try making one (and a header or banner or something) but I haven't actually got many pictures of them on my comp.
I know a few who probably would be, I just need to corner them! XD

Does it seem silly to be doing this when we're all freaking out about maybe not staying? :( I don't WANT to leave, that's the thing. And i guess if we do leave, it won't be too hard to rebuild somewhere else at this stage.

Yeah, shouldn't be hard to rebuild, I've got an RP comm actually that hasn't got off the ground yet, and once I get ahold of the other mod I'm gonna ask her if she wants to move the whole thing to GJ, just in case.

I don't want to leave either, but if necessary...I don't feel comfortable at LJ anymore, or safe posting art or fiction. It's a sign I think of how much LJ is changed, just how freeing it felt to set up my creative journal on GJ. Comfortable in a way LJ hasn't been for a while now.

I'm confused about which one we should all go to. :( We're all going to be divided in three ways.
This is all really REALLY scary to me. Fandom is such a huge hobby, and there's so many friends in it.

I'm hoping, whatever happens, Fandom will mostly be reunited on Scribblit when that comes out. I think a lot of people are going to be moving to GJ, if only because it's free and you don't need codes to get in...

Yeah, this is scary to me, too. Fandom aside, what are they going to delete next? I shouldn't be afraid that I'm going to lose a journal because of drawings of nudes. Even if they were drawn in a college art class.

Scribblit is a new LJ-based journal site currently in beta-testing, created by and for members of fandom. It's not technically fandom-only, but definately fandom-friendly.

At least I've got stuff to occupy myself tomorrow during the strike, gonna finish reading Dune and watch V for Vendetta, I think.

Heck, if I had alcohol around I could make it a drinking game, take a drink every time something in V sounds like LJ. XD

I'm going to try and write a fanfiction, and i'll watch some tv and I've got two books to read, and yeah... I'll find stuff to do!
