Booooook
I finished reading The Wise Man's Fear last night. I got the book last month, but it's large and heavy and unweildy, so I got around 130 pages in and stalled because it's hard to handle, and I was getting ready for Tekko. And after Tekko things really sucked at work and then I was getting ready for an interview at another job (didn't get it, they'd filled the openings, but they liked me and I think if a spot opens up I'll get a call...), but I downloaded the e-book version for the Nook and I read it that way.
I'm going to get a Nook Color soon enough (maybe birthday?) but for now I read it with the PC app. The laptop's easier than trying to keep the book in place.
OMFG that book. I don't want to say too much because I know there's people on my flist who've read the first and may not have read the second, or may not have finished it yet, but ...yeah. I <3 Kingkiller Chronicle. And also Patrick Rothfuss.
Kvothe is fucking scary.
And Bast is truely nucking futs.
And Elodin is hilarious.
And yeah, I'm shutting up now.
Part of me is dreading part three, whenever it comes out, because you know it's just all downhill from here. For the characters, that is. And that's not a spoiler. Only takes a couple chapters of the first book to know that. Plus I don't want it to end. But I bet it'll be spectacular.
