I am on the upward swing of a monstrous summer cold. It struck just in time to bench me from the Derby fundraiser, but akarui_rynka volunteered to drive to the Marian Call concert, thank goodness, because I was going to that no matter what, and that drive home would have been a mistake if I'd been attempting it myself. WHEN?!?! WHEN WILL SHE BE THERE?!?!?!

I'm not one for concerts...or public venues...or leaving my house... but am strongly tempted to go see her, even though I'm unfamiliar with any of her earlier music. (I only own "Got To FLy" Cd and "Something Fierce.") I probably won't--as she will probably be far from here--but the idea is nice anyway.

In August, she'll be all over the midwest (scroll down). I don't think it would be at all difficult to get Rynka or I to hit another concert, though I am states away from my work schedule. (putting it on my computer/phone calendar was one of those things I meant to do before my trip, but....) The house concerts are literally at fans' houses, so email contact info will go up closer to the concert date, if you want to go to one of those.

No wait!

Yesterday, was it only yesterday?--regardless, yesterday I was in B&N and there's this display of shark books in the kids section and I was so tired I just randomly started singing. "Shark Week...it be Shaaark Week.." through the store until Ice gave me a look.

I realized that I don't actually remember the words that lead up to 'Chomp, Chomp' ... :(
