Today's local paper is confusing. There's a picture of kids attending a local Purim event on the front page, which, wrong holiday? Ah, okay, upon further investigation, the article and photo are part of a series of articles on Judaism in the region. It's still a bit weird to feature a photo from Purim on Passover.
I dropped something (a large, metal shelf) on my foot a couple weeks back. It still hurts, and now I think I have a bone bruise. Odds of participating in the zombie run have therefore decreased significantly. Woe.
We had a theme week at work. I dressed like a pirate on Wednesday and like elementary school me, complete with a side ponytail, on Thursday (theme: retro). The customer double-takes on the sales floor were fantastic. Today is a carry-in, and I was going to bring baked goods, but I don't wanna bake. Hmph.
Questions about books:
Why are Nicholas Sparks' books in Fiction instead of Romance?
Has anyone read Fifty Shades of Grey, and if so, is it worth reading?
Since I liked Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I should read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, yes/no?
I am caught between two hand-sell titles - The Secrets of Jin-Shei (which I have previously established I can sell the heck out of) and Ex Libris. Do I pick one, or go for the "100 club" on two titles simultaneously?
In conclusion, decisions are hard today.
