It is not yet nine, today is PACKING day and I am ALREADY heart-fluttery, what-am-I-forgetting panicky. What the heck? Whyyyy, I like being laid back!
*cough* Anyway. Things! Scifi things first! Voting was fairly split. Since I am helping with the registration table on Friday evening (and then, CUPCAKES! Orange and lavender cupcakes!), I need to be returning from Seattle sight-seeing around 4ish. So, I am going to go with the plan to see Pike Place Market in the morning and do
the Sci Fi Museum in the afternoon.
What this means for you
: You are welcome to join me in the morning if you are up -- I plan on leaving from the hotel at 9 and will be glad to meet up with fellow sight-seers in the lobby. Those of you still sleeping will need to make your own way to the Sci Fi Museum. It's located at 325 5th Ave N, attached to the Experience Music Project. The
King County Metro site offers multiple routes to get there, use "Issaquah Transit Center" and the museum address for your endpoints.
(Board Route ST 554 Seattle Express at Issaquah Transit Center Bay 2m and ask for a transfer. Exit at 4th Ave and Seneca St, walk to 3rd and Seneca. Board Route MT 16 Northgate, and finish at 5th and Broad. One-way trip costs $4.50 and should take just shy of an hour -- if you catch the 11:31 Route ST 554 Seattle Express and the 12:11 Rte MT 16 Northgate, it will put you at the museum about 12:30.)
See you in front of the building at 12:30? Unless it's raining. In which case, I'll see you just inside. This post is unlocked, so I'm not putting my cell number up here, but if you'd like to have it for purposes of coordination, let me know, and I'll email/pm you.
(Next up, crossposting this to the BP comm.)
