Listing
1) I'm listing to the left because I'm using the laptop AND snuggling the firmly anti-lap cat. Who earlier scratched me in an attempt to get at the rice crispy treat I was eating. I can't even begin to guess why she was so excited about it, but there was rapid sniffing and whisker wiggling and swiping at the hand (the big No) and threatened climbing up the leg. The margarine, maybe? Or maybe she's just a weirdo.
2) Sis had to take one of her dogs in for (minor) surgery today, so she's delaying coming for Christmas until Wednesday so she can take care of her. She says the surgery went well, though.
3) For the curious, the bookclub ended up choosing The Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Thanks again for the suggestions -- I'll probably end up reading several of them on my own.
4) My dsss has been posted and corrected and is posted and done! And I am happy with it, so I need to not look at that file anymore.
5) I'm ready for family Christmas. I'm not ready for extended!Christmas -- I have not done cards, and the only package I sent out will never arrive in time, since it's destined for England and I sent it Saturday. I haven't even mailed anything to my cousin, because I was making her something, and I haven't finished. Ack.
4+5=9) In lieu of seeking addresses at this late date (because Ha!), I'm collecting prompts for bitty year-end fics -- hit me with a fandom and pairing/character (word/theme prompt optional but welcome). And since yuletide is all over the flist and I still half-wish it'd been feasible this year, feel free to include prompts for fandoms you're not sure I know -- though if you do, please include a backup prompt for a known fandom (like dS, C6D, Psych, Star Trek: Reboot, SPN, Black Books, Life, Leverage...).
