This is a day/week/month of BLARGH.

... at least, it seems that many people I know are not having fun simultaneously. It's like an anti-party. /o\

My own complaints are relatively minor and largely self-inflicted. So instead of worrying (ha! okay, in ADDITION to worrying), I'm stealing calathea's meme and offering fic. Kindof.

Give me a pairing and the title of a story in this format ( Read more... )

meme, fandom: c6d, fandom: due south, fanfic

Ray could think of any number of ways he'd rather be spending his day off. Sleeping, for one, since it was still well before noon. But Fraser had called to invite him out, and sure, Ray could have said no and hung up, but then he'd have been awake and thinking about his semi-official partner... and by now he knew that thinking about Fraser while lying in bed tended to lead towards thinking about Fraser in bed, which, since the man himself had just called, seemed just a little bit more sketchy than he was comfortable with ( ... )

WHEEE! I loved this! (I may or may not have shouted with glee "It's a zebra!" the second that the pony was mentioned.)

The One With the Party Where Welsh Got Drunk and Outed Them.

It was nearly Christmas. And this year, Ray was feeling some of that goodwill towards man. The reason for his newfound cheer was standing across the room, talking to his sister but cutting eyes at him. Kowalski leaned against the wall over Frannie's shoulder, nodding along to whatever she was talking about and flashing these looks at him. Looks that promised him all kinds of things, if Ray would manufacture an excuse to get them out of here. Now. Ray smiled down into his drink, a gin and tonic, hold-the-gin ( ... )

Frannie had been having a Terrible, Very Bad, No Good Day. The kind of day where every little thing went wrong, from staplers jamming to a missing report to creepy perps hitting on her. And when Fraser came in to help her "brother," well... he didn't blow her off, which she supposed was something because on a Terrible, Very Bad, No Good Day like today, she wasn't sure how she'd have handled something really big, like Fraser being rude. But he didn't really talk with her either, beyond "hello" and "excuse me," and "excuse me" and "goodbye ( ... )

Oh, Frannie!!!

Fraser choked out an apology, in his I'm-so-embarrassed-I-might-die voice, and pulled the door back shut.

I lurv it!

so I take it you *don't* want something mean like:
Weasley Twins and The One With the Holey Green Sock

Okay on a more serious note:

Geoffrey Tennent & Darren Nichols in The One With the Wrong Half of a Script, Missing Paychecks and Where the Fuck's My Coffee

And if that doesn't inspire...
Geoffrey Tennent and whoeveryou'dlike in The One With the Definition of 'Black Coffee'

You know, I HAVE WRITTEN YOU TWINCEST BEFORE, and I have mentioned HP in the last year. I COULD DO IT AGAIN. Ahem.

Slings and Arrows, then? ^_^

akarui_rynka November 29 2007, 05:53:46 UTC
yea! Slings and Arrows.

I didn't want to do dS because I knew everyone else on your flist that would respond would ask for it...and I honestly couldn't think much further in the 6deg than S&A in a direction where I really knew the characters anyway.

Oh that and SPN is all I seem to be able to find around here to visualize on and after squicking myself ever so slightly on the SPN doujin photos posted...up for sale...very tempting and yet...i can't bring myself to go there. And really I don't need you writing me anything that'll truly hurt my soul. See now weasley twincest I can *almost* picture cannonly, wincest usually squicks me to no end. Albeit there were Jensen/Jared doujin. And I think they were the dirtier ones.

"Do you miss it?"

Geoffrey blinked, and his focus returned shipboard from the spaces between the stars. "Miss it?"

He consider and dismissed several terms before settling on "Home."

"Sometimes," Geoffrey replied. He paused for a moment, perhaps considering the question. "I miss stages. And Yan's, on Caprica. It's strange to think I'll never eat there again--that it doesn't exist anymore. I don't think it's really sunk in yet, that it's all... gone, you know?"

He didn't know--but he was curious. He nodded.

"Even the people. Maybe especially the people. Every time I turn a corner, I expect to run into Oliver." Geoffrey's face clouded. Ellen had apparently taken Oliver's death hard--harder than any of the other survivors of the company. Geoffrey had been struggling with the possible implications and hiding his doubts from his grieving girlfriend.

"How dreadful knowledge of the truth can be/When there's no help in truth!" Geoffrey murmured to himself, and his eyes strayed back to the window. The more disturbed Geoffrey ( ... )
