I managed to quietly amass an f-ton of forest pictures over the past week or so. I know I don't post here often anymore, but I hope you enjoy the pics anyway. I'd take ya all on walks around here if I could.
Also there is one very very tiny spider. I spent a loooong time trying to get a pic of it, so I had to put it in there. I kept the other ones out for a post of their own though. Look for that sooonish.~
Butterfly stretches its finicky wings to catch the sunlight.
One lone plant in the middle of the lake.
Why look, it's a wild loren in its natural habitat. Be careful or it might begin to creep.
Mr. Dragonfly ridin' dirty. Or at the very least enjoying a scenic leaf boat.
The Queen of the Fairies lording over the forest. Can you see her?
First glimpse of the lake from the underbrush.
Mr. Moth doesn't very much prefer the flash on my camera 8\
Butterfly taking a nap before a storm. Uh...not sure if this is wise.
Ladybug chillin'. You don't see these around here too often.
Small jewel of a spider. I spent almost an hour trying to get a clear shot of her B| so I had to at least put this pic in.
Blue says wassup. He hung out with me on the bridge for about half an hour.
To me, this place looks like paradise. If only it was 20 degrees colder.
A stodgy old grandfather grasshopper. Too old and crotchety to jump away from the youngins.
Sunlight hitting the water cast out this unusual gold-ish color.
Just another flutterby. These are the most common. There's also black ones, brown mottled ones, monarch-y ones like the one above, small yellow ones...and almost none of them stay still long enough for a picture.
Fairy plant in spooky lighting. Watch out they'll eat youuu.
Odd little butterfly. It's got eye looking patterns on its wing tps.
He's trying to be all camo.
That same blue one I was hanging with on the bridge.
He's about to dive! Or play tag or idk.
Another green fella perching on my house.
Another of the common orange flower eater butterflies.
You will be hypnotiiiized by that swirling gaze @_@
Fluffy caterpillar climbing a tree. Not much else to say about that.
Another rare wing stretch-y moment.
A worm and some...kind of other bug are battling! I seriously watched this for about five minutes.
Ants all seem to love white flowers...
My favorite moth. Its wings and coloration look more like a blue bird than a moth's.
...and he's enjoying lunch.
Elderly butterfly. His wings may be tattered, but he can still fly pretty fast (to get away from my camera.)
Ending as it started...snowy bugs in the dead of night. You'd never notice how pretty the bug clouds are without pics like this.
